We recorded this on Monday night, released Tuesday morning. Few hours later Adult Swim released the news that they’re parting ways with Roiland. We added a quick intro and left the rest of the episode describing the allegations for context.

• Official Allegations against Justin Roiland
  • NBC News broke the story on January 12, 2023 that Roiland is facing felony domestic violence charges
  • According to the article, the criminal complaint was filed in May 2020 and Roiland pleaded not guilty.
  • “One felony count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit.”
  • Each count could include up to 3 years in jail if found guilty 
  • During Thursday’s hearing, Roiland’s attorney confirmed there is a plea offer available to Roiland, but did not discuss details. The brief hearing concluded a moment later with an agreement to convene again on April 27. Roiland was ordered to attend the hearing.
